Bike
It was a hot summer day
My parents were sitting on my porch
We’d taking the training wheels off
My little brother and I
There was a little grassy hill
Laying next to our house
I tried and tried again
I still couldn’t get it right
But there was my little brother
Two years younger then me
Peddling down the hill
Perfectly fine
As I kept on failing
Bruising myself
He had learned to ride his bike…
Before me
I was angry
Threw
Down
My bike
But I knew I had to do it
I knew I had to succeed
So I picked up my bike
And rode down the little grassy hill
