Another Day
Every word seems jaded
Every hour weighted
Things of stone seem of clay
Boundaries gone, wasted away
All is lifeless, frigid and bland
Death, stalking, roams the land
With no more souls to take,
He departs, leaving death in his wake
Hellfire rages free,
All the damned souls flee
Yet I remain,
Alone, still full of disdain,
Still cold, still gray,
It’s just another day
