I won’t mention your promise,
although it has not come.
I will wait to bring it us,
til I’m sure it’s don’t.
I will not bother you with
questions about your so called gift.
Instead I’ll wait patiently
til my burdens lift.
You said relief is just within
the grasp your promise holds.
But I can only wait so long,
before my once faith folds.
