Beneath the Shadows I See

pouring rain hits my face
movements all around me
listening to the drops
thunding to the ground beneath me
falling into the wet ground
looking far up above
seeing nothing but lights
as the rain settles into nothing
i finally see what i was looking for
beneath the shadows that dwell in the night sky was a boy
but not just a noy
the boy, the one, my one
