Darkness

A child;
alone in the darkness
facing pain and suffering
in the barren walls.
Her spirit lives
in these walls,
for tears of sorrow
livened it up.
No light surpasses in
no brightness could be shown,
as long ember waves
cover our little subject.
So in there she lays,
no feelings can be transpired,
with no words to be heard
in the valley of torment and sorrow.
