Struggle.
Longer lasting than a mountain
As sturdy as a rock
You will not take my happiness
I tell you, you cannot
The time of trials, it continues
With the hot sun on my back
The waters rising higher
What's black is black is black
From the darkness of despair
To the torture that is love
The clouds come rolling in
Bringing tear drops from above
But when struggles make you weak
And you can't take one friend's help
Then rise and embrace the world
For it carries no such belt
The pain of sorrow, that of loss
These are feelings all to near
Yet I'm turning to the sun,
Using trust, not fear
So as this road I follow wanders
Through trials large and small
I think of those who carry me
The greatest friends of all
