alone
Alone
Have you ever felt alone?
This eerie feeling of unknown
Have you ever tried to cry?
But feel a piece of you die inside
You sit and wait
While in this strange state
Waiting for someone to come
Feeling like nothing can be done
Then reality hits
No one will come for you it hints
Then you stop and stare
There’s no hope is there
You look out your window
And see darkness no day
Light which you have seen a long time ago
Now seems to fade to gray
You turn and then your house is gone
See only dark
There’s nothing but black you stand upon
Just hoping someone will cause a spark
