Just Want You To Know
I just want you to know
That it’s time; you’ve got to go
This time
I won’t let it go
I just want you to know
That, sadly
Things are not the same anymore
At least not for me
I just want you to know
There’s no other way
You’ve got to go
Your own way
I just want you to know
That I swear, I want you to stay
But this time, though
It’s a diverse kind of fray
I just want you to know
That though you have to go
I’ll always be here
Your apology will in my ears
Forever piercingly blare
Yet, I don’t want you to
Apologize.
I want you to stay, too.
But surely you realize
There’s no other way
‘Cause things are different
The essence has being splattered
Yet, deep, you WILL always be my friend
Even when our story
Has been shattered
I just want you to know
That cruelty lives everywhere
In the hidden depth’s vigor
Life never was fair
And I want you to know
Though I’ve got to let our friendship go
Though tonight I've let our bonds unfold
You’re more prized to the world
Than any priceless gold
And I just want you to know
That this time
I can’t change my mind
You really have got to go
This time
What has ensued
Can not possibly rewind
And though maybe I’m being rude
Our emotions can not unwind
I want you to know
That though you will be gone
I’m gonna feel more alone
And there is something I know
That though you will depart
Your memories will eternally stay
Till my home is my grave.
And I want you to know
That I don’t want you to say
Anything regretful
I don’t wish your days to be stained
With blots so sorrowful
I just want you to not
Open your mouth; utter a word
All bittersweet urges should be fought
I don’t want you to say
Anything more
Before I gather enough vile
To slam the door
‘Cause I’m afraid I’ll
Want you back.
I just want you to know
That though people would’ve said
Once a friend, always a friend
But since it’s the end
I, with eyes red
Weeping and howling in agony
Tearfully; wretchedly I can see
That I should say,
‘Cause you’re going away
Once an angel,
Always an angel
I’ll howl again
When I find hell
For the pain I gave you
Sorry; will eternally remember you
For your loyalty so true
And I just want you to know
That this time
It really is time for you to go
Sorry you have to suffer for my crime.
