Sunset Blankets

Oftentimes of late I find myself
Tangled up in leaves of bronze.
The delicate nature of autumn wraps itself
Around me, holding me in fragile embrace.
I dare not struggle
Nor blink or breathe,
For fear of making a sound
And disturbing the slumbering beast of winter,
Lying dormant
Beneath a blanket of fallen leaves.
I slowly stand,
Crisp leaves crackling under my feet.
Birds twirl and whistle
Over Lucid azure rivers
And the sunset blankets of Autumn.

I love the imagery you use in your works. I also love the way how you are so in tune with nature. It is very beautiful. Great job!
