The Second Half

Warm weather’s ending, cooler days are here.
The leaves’ changing colors are coming near.
The days shorten, I get less time outside.
The animals all start to hide.
The winds pick up, and the leaves fall.
There is less time with friends at the mall.
“Brrr…it’s cold” I continue to say.
It feels the same everyday.
Somedays there’s snow, somedays there’s rain.
The crazy weather has me going insane.
These few months drag on and on.
Hopefully the months of spring will be coming before long.
