Please Yourself
Be who you are my heart says
But it’s all inside my head
They will always talk it’s just a struggle
I’m confused it’s just a puzzle
Be who you are they don’t care
I give myself a blank stare
It’s hard to ignore what they say
Don’t pay attention and walk away
Life is full of criticism
I think it’s made up of cynicism
I keep it all inside my head
Forget about it it’s just a threat
Just try to ignore all their lies
But deep inside my soul dies
You do you and concentrate
You’re right I’ll do me and cooperate

I wrote about this because people shouldn't be focusing on society but themselves and do what they want.
