I Still Feel Guilty For What I Didn't Say

That night back in London where we crashed and burned,
You ran to the bathroom, to cry and be heard.
I should have gone with you, but I choked on words
That may or may not echo still in my verse.

While you built up mountains and buried joint dreams,
I tore down bridges and burst at the seams.
I left you a letter explaining the things
You never did quite get, and I won’t repeat.
