Drink up your bottled sincerity quick
To feel its warm sensation on your throat,
Sloppily singing tales of better lives
To sober up your drunken state of bliss.
Like a perfume of truth, alcohol speaks-
Sloppily,
Lazily,
But reality escapes all the same.
Tears of an embittered heart bubbling
From the depths of a champagne bottle
And twenty years lost to the factory.
