I stare upon the screen with shock & sadness, 
For I never knew that such pain could be inflicted by so few words. I had placed my heart on the table only for it to be abandoned, left to rot on the marble counter top. In recollection I remember not a feeling much like a bullet to the heart, but like a slow decay, a gradual rotting of my soul. I feel as if a hole has consumed me, as if my Juliet, had betrayed me... But I still see her face & see joy. I still think of her & feel a burning love inside my core... But now this love is not without company. Beside my passion looms sadness, longing to see her hand in mine, her lips upon my own... But it knows that such things are but foolish dreams... I play back each move I made, each thing I said & I hunt restlessly to find what I did wrong... But to no avail. I her... All the same my heart  burns for her, perhaps with a greater blaze than ever before. But. Now I know she has no desire for me... Pity; perhaps... But not love... I bite my lip as I walk through these halls as I gaze upon a for forbidden fruit though my hands are bound & my  mouth gagged. For all she wishes
