Youth MAG
The poisoned youth that age too soon
And sleep until late afternoon,
Don’t always want to go outside.
And though we said “I’m fine,” we lied.
The good die young but the great will last,
Yet we still hold onto the past
And waste our days on pointless love
That others just want to rise above.
We say the words you don’t want to hear
And become the faces some live to fear.
But we are strong when we’re together
And can make a legacy to live forever.
And we are those who will change the world
That lives on for your boys and girls.
So don’t cry over your reputation;
It means nothing to a damaged generation.
