A Moment of Sunshine
O heavenly blue skies!
Here is my ode, and plea, to you!
Your tears fall upon the earth,
Replenishing dried creeks and mending cracks,
Bringing new life to lands in thirst.

 For time seemingly eternal,
I have looked out the window,
 Watching your endless crying
Tears shed at the dry state
We humans have in part created.

 But for this week's time,
Let not your angry tears fall!
For I much enjoy your daughters,
The Deities, the Moon and Sun,
And all the pleasure they bring.

I dance in the Sun's wake.
The glowing vitamin sustains my health.
I sleep in the Moon's wake,
The gray crystal lulls me to sleep.
So how can I do both if angry clouds take flight?

Yes, of course, the rain is needed,
For we humans have near destroyed your natural earthen fruit.
 But, for this week's time,
I ask you to halt your tears
And let your two daughters shine forth.
