Bathtub.
Sinking down.
I know what I want to hear.
The bothersome twitch in my ears as I immerse
is worth it.
A part of it.
Rigid and still, listening.
Silence.
Then, my body makes itself known.
It speaks to me.
Life. Life. Life. Life.
I swear I see the water jump with each pump.
You are filled.
My belly tells me about my eating habits.
Take in life.
Chest rises and falls,
liquid conforming to it's even movement.
Outside noises interrupt my body.
Scare it back inside of me.
I lift up, leaving that bit of me behind in the tub.
