Desired Despair
Body strong, the will in tatters
A bruised and battered heart is shattered
Love is what the Fates bemoan
What good is it to stand alone?
Water burns and fire chills
It always hurts before it heals
You give it form, you give it breath
And all you're given once it's left
Is empty space and empty wishes;
That's supposed to be sufficient.
No reason, rhyme, or rule applies.
In this game, the logic lies.
You find the answer in the course
To risk the fall or risk remorse.
