Puzzle
I'm trying to figure you out,
One small piece at a time,
But there are so few pieces
For me to deal with,
And so much more essential,
Pieces to be found
So little knowledge I have,
Of you,
It only touches the skin,
Of the matter,
Lightly caressing,
The big picture
Your perfect face,
I've memorized to every freckle,
Your melodic laugh,
Played out beautifully in my head,
But that,
Is as far as it goes
I need more of you,
What makes you laugh,
Will you let me watch,
Or why you cry,
Would you in front of me,
Please?
I want to know you inside and out,
Everything that goes,
Through your head that I don't see,
The secrets that are veiled,
From my restrained viewing,
Things I would never know
And the most important of all,
I must know for myself,
Will I complete,
You
Am I the missing piece,
To your puzzle
