Just sitting there,
Doing nothing
but enjoying the quietness on a beautiful day.
Drifting away in the deep colors of spring
with green everywhere.
Calm and quite,
until a monstrous storm cloud comes
Destroying the quietness
and everything in its path
creating a horrible smell.
Rumbling loudly
and all I think of is to run.
Scared
Thoughtless
I start to run
the sky booming as if the sound is getting closer,
not knowing what to do
I just keep running
as if stuck in my worse dream
but knowing this is real
I wake up
as I hear my mom scream,
