the morning sun
is a miracle on your lips
that sing to me
like birds while dawn is breaking
to look into your eyes
is to gaze out onto the earth
through amber glass
and see summertime
and time stops
and all we know
is each other's breath
spiraling into the air
like every moment
overflowing with secret desires
to know your greatest secret
and marvel at the truth
would be like heaven
but how much greater still
to imagine what each moment's
desire is, how amazing
to think of you
until the morning sun

I've read a bunch of your poems, and you never fail to impress. Keep it up!
