Cheater
I wonder what was going on in your head
As your two bodies hit the bed
Were you thinking of me?
Or was her face all you could see?
You say now you feel bad
And the look in your eyes says your sad
But you can’t feel the ache in my chest
Because I always thought you were the very best
You said I deserve better then this
But those words are as cheap as our last kiss
My hands are balled in fist and my heart is on my sleeve
As I watch you leave
And I feel a tear fall
Even though I can’t feel anything at all
And I watched you walk away
I always knew it would end this way
I can’t even stand to see your face
But I could never stand mine in the first place
My skin bleeds for your touch
But that thought is just too much
I hope you treat her well
Because if not, that’s just a cheap sell
