Long Distance Relationship
My dreams are filled
 with thoughts of you;
 with hopes you’ll
 love me,
 someday.

Maybe, I’ll grow out of this
 love for you.
 Hopefully because
 it’s unhealthy
 to melt
 at your smile,
 at your laugh,
at the mention of you name.

 I look at you,
but can’t bring myself to say
 hello,
 which kills me
 Because you light up my
 life.
 Because you brighten my
 day.
 Because you make me
 happy.

 I’m in love with
 the sight of your face,
 the sound of your voice,
but I never show how I
 feel.

 I’m scared of
 rejection;
 Such an ugly word,
 such a hateful word.
 Something I fear
 more than anything.
 So I keep my distance
 and stay
 across the room,
 but
 I still
 love you.
