Come on, and make up your mind,
Each inhale is viciously maligned;
You lead me on than dump me off.
Lies thread together like that of a cloth.

And I know you are sorry.
But the rain wont wash things away
Girl I could give you the world.
But I'd rather try another day.

So go now; don't ever take my hand.
I feel like I'm finally on top of the world.
I can see the city skyline from where I stand;
Wasting the night away; without you girl.

When I close my eyes,
I worry if you'll be there when I wake.
And I hope to god that you are not.
When I close my eyes;
I wonder how much more of this I can take.
How much time does an open wound take to clot?

What is it that makes you so damn great?
(Because I can't seem to find it)
I feel like I have too much on my plate.
(Your ambiguity makes it hard to commit)
A mouthful I just can't seem to choke down;
You were always the best mistake to make in this town.
