If you lay in bed tonight silently screaming because your mind is racing
slow down and breathe
Think of the sunshine and rehearse the lines of the most beautiful thing
you've ever heard.
If you lay in bed tonight silently screaming because your mind is racing
slow down and breathe
Think of all the people who would never again be able to see without
your grace and wonderful love here
If you lay in bed tonight silently screaming because your mind is racing
slow down and breathe
Remember the words I say to you most and think of them in your consious
mind tonight, baby.
If you lay in bed tonight silently screaming because your mind is racing
slow down and breathe
Please remember I'll follow your footprints if you were to ever leave.

I love you.

I wrote this to my long time friend, once a lover, and now my best friend.
