"i want to throw a brick at someone, but politely.”

she thinks she’s lost her mind.

the crow that follows her everywhere tells her that.

making her think she's alone in the darkness that is her own mind.

she can't seem to see the light, everything is pitch black.

she feels detached from reality.

the crow makes her believe she’s an imperfect, insane, insecure idiot,

who isn’t worth anyone's time.

god, she feels so hideous.

the crow follows her through thick and thin.

telling her all the things she doesn’t need to hear.

making her feel stupid and immature,

everything she does blinded by fear.

go away. go away. go away.

her silent screams echoing through her mind,

yearning for the crow to one day listen.

yet still, her and the crow are intertwined.

if only the crow would leave her be.

maybe then she’d be okay.

maybe then, she would find herself.

maybe one day.

until then she will keep trying.

doing her best to shove the crow away.

every day passing like a stab in her side.

but she will be okay.
