A new pair of sunglasses
Pink zebra stripes
Your favorite
A new roller coaster
Lots of twists and turns
Your favorite
Hold tight to your sunglasses
Don't ever let them go
Up the hill we go
Forever and a day it seems
Until finally plunging
Into the depths of the earth
And we're both screaming
I hold tight to the car
Your arms are high in the sky
Falling and flying
All at the same time
Until all too soon
It's all over
Laughing and squealing
We get off the ride
The sun is so bright
But your hands are empty

I wrote this poem after my sister lost a brand new pair of pink zebra-striped sunglasses on a roller coaster a Magic Kingdom.
