A Rose for a Ring

With this rose
I pledge my vow
To love you forever
As I love you now.

As I stand in the alter,
With you by my side,
And do all that I can
To hold back my cries.

With this rose,
I give you my heart.
And with it I a promise;
We shall never be apart.

I don’t know if you know
How much I love you
I don’t think I ever
Had the courage to tell you.

But I’ll tell you now,
I guess this is our fate,
I love you.
But I guess I’m too late.

Can you hear me baby?
I guess god only knows
All the emotions I feel
That are put into this rose.

So with this rose,
I tell you the truth.
From the first day we met,
I have always loved you.

But you left me here
Alone to cry,
With nothing to say,
Except goodbye.

It breaks my heart,
The path you have chosen,
As I stare into your bed,
That I put your rose in.

Take all my love,
It’s all that I know.
And it’s all I can give you,
Save this black rose.
