I enjoy puzzles
I like those picture games where and image changes
and you have to guess a certain number of changes there are
I see another face you disguise your true hidden feelings with
It doesn’t bother me, I like this face
Id rather just forget the image you truly paint under your mask
The thing is, I know you dislike me
Hatetred is an outlet humans choose to let in when they don’t feel like forgiving
but I really didn’t mean to upset you
see that’s another fault we can blame on humankind
being blunt is just human nature
pretending is also
while you continue to alienate me from the world
you continue to become a terribly boring cliché
express feelings of a forgiving nature
like adding a shiny polk-a-dotted Band-Aid to the scar on my back
I wouldn’t blame you if you never spoke to me again
But yet you continue to hide behind insincere acceptance
You might have everyone else fooled, but im not
I can’t predict every illusion you try to force upon others
It doesn’t bother me though
But like I said, I enjoy puzzles
