Okay, so maybe my hair is too thick,
Or my nose it too long,
Or my lips are too thin,
Or I can’t sing a song.

I guess I have a few pimples,
I could lose a few pounds,
I’m really quite short,
And my hips are too round.

I suppose I’m not popular,
I’m really very shy,
And for the life of me,
I can not tell a lie.

But I get straight A’s,
I look on the bright side,
I like to have fun,
And I’ve got nothing to hide.

I love to ride horses,
Soccer is my thing,
And music is my life,
Even though I can’t sing.

I hold my head high,
I love to write,
And when my friends are arguing,
I usually help settle the fight.

I don’t drink or so drugs,
And I’m as loyal as can be.
So you know what?
I like being me.
