Behind those shoulders
I see your wings,
A reflection of your soul
That for others would sing
You've given me comfort
From sorrows of past,
As long as you're there
Life's reason will last.
I never will know
Of life without you,
You've given me joy
Despite the troubles I've seen through
So your body may fade,
I know mine will too.
But I'll be happy in knowing
I'll still be with you
