Everybody’s got an angel
Sent from God above
Everybody’s got an angel
Protecting them with love
And if I get to heaven
And you’re still in this land
I’d walk up to Jesus
Get on my knees and fold my hands
And I’d ask to be your angel
And I’d pray that he says yes
It’s a choice I’d make in an instant
And never second-guess
