What I Feel
I feel trapped,
In an invisible ocean of deception,
 I feel locked,
Away in my tower of misconception,
 I feel rain,
 Pounding heavily on my soul,
 I feel sorrow,
 So painfully taking it’s toll,
 I feel rage,
That I am powerless against the world,
 I feel wonder,
As I watch the stars dance and twirl,
 I feel anguish,
When I realize the world is built on lies,
 I feel hope,
When I see the sparkle in your eyes,
 I feel love,
With every time you hold me,
 I feel happy,
As I see you want to be with me,
 And I feel peace,
As I watch my life go too,
Because I know all that I have done, I do not regret,
And I am content with the passing of time, as long as it’s with you.
