My problems started in 2006
That is when I realized I hung out with mean chicks
My status as a planet was taken away
I was left alone to decay

Ever since then I envied the sun
So big, bright, and warm; she was number one
I was so small, dark, and cold
No one was around for me to hold
They all revolved around her
Compared to her I was just an amateur
I knew I needed to stop wallowing in self pity
And realize, I am in my own way pretty

I may be a dead star
And I may be really bizarre
But, since when was yellow the new black?
I am ready to make a comeback!
