“I’m selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can’t handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don’t deserve me at my best.”

O, let me tell you my story,
How many stars above the celestial globe?
How many cracks on our amiable Moon?
How many kisses for our darling Planet?
I’m the wind tamer my friends! I hold a secret truth.

Catch me if you can!

Ah...an ode to life!
I’ve crossed the fields, touched our beloved soil,
I’ve passed the streams, their water’s pure,
I’ve rode the storms, she’s too wild!
I’m the wind tamer my friends! How I wish you can see!

Can you chase me, my friends?

But you’re always one step behind,
How many screams have echoed loud and clear!
That render their tears to the Cup.
And rotten corpses, scattered by one curious phobia
Stranger in a strange land, yet they were killed,
And those bloody excuses to taint reality!
I’m the wind tamer! I know your truth!

Those small light, breathless by the dying day,
Strangled by your grip, to shut them away,
Let the light come, they’ll heal,
Unlike that Traitor who would loose his hold,
Yet There is one who will never do so,
Even when darkness comes, he remains,
Staunch to the end of Time itself, be hopeful!

Be brave, for a dream isn’t one,
Till it be acted upon, and spread on the fields,
For an oath isn’t one,
Till you fulfill it, and bring it back to its cycle,
For love isn’t love, still unborn,
Till you give it away, and share that lovely glow!
I’m the wind tamer, my friends, I saw them.

But when you come, I fly, tell me, will you ever see me at all?

Your mushroom cloud won’t destroy me!
Your hatred and anger won’t touch me!
Your sorrow and grief won’t shake me!
You never knew I passed the Walls!
I’m the wind tamer! How I wish you can open your eyes!

And I too, hope that I can see this wind tamer. One day, when I’m back Home.

I agree with Dynamo, I does remind me a bit of Vietnam. It also reminds me of the Dirty War in Argentina during the 70s, but that is probably just because I am currently learning about it in school.

If there is one word to describe life it is one

Ok I liked this a lot, i must say I LOVE IT when people ask questions in their poetry or writing because it simply makes me think and keeps me interested in the poetry. Also I felt like i like the energy, I feel like you just drank 20 monsters then started writing this poem! haha I love that :)

I am a Catholic :) It was a bit of surprise, as my original inspiration are slightly different, more focused on a smaller scale, but interpreted that way have some truth in it. For me, every country have its light, no matter where I might live. Even though Vietnam does have some oppression, its people is fused in one with nature :) In Vietnam, the experience may be perceived as harder, but they too, have enormous light behind them :)

I used to think falling in love would be personal. But it's all a big public show.

From a person who has lived in Vietnam, where oppression is guised as peace, this is a very good attempt. Just wondering: which religion do you follow? Btw, the allusion to the mushroom clouds, to the guns that hack at your tranquillity, to the hatred and anger that is directed at innocent people...my, this was awesome. Keep working on it.:)
