Military Child
Yes, at times I feel alone
But this is the lifestyle in which I have grown
I understand as hard as it can be
That loss may happen so I can be free

They say home is where the heart is
And how I am like many other kids
I have nowhere to call home
Throughout the world I feel I will always roam

I hope to someday plant my roots deep in the ground
I am lost and I just want to be found
I move and my life will begin again
Yet I know it will also come to an end

People say they don't know how I do it
 I honestly don't either I'll admit
Yeah, this life is crazy and maybe even a little wild
But I stand proud with my head held high as a military child
