Who is that atop the trees,
Who, when sees humans, quickly flees?
Who is that with the chit chit chatter,
Who gathers nuts to make him fatter?
Who is that with the bushy tail,
Who, when you chase, you quickly fail?
Who is that with the cunning face,
Who climbs up to his treetop base?
Who is that with the climbing claws,
Who somehow defies the gravity laws?
The mystery creature is the squirrel,
Frisking 'bout while the fall leaves swirl.
