Art is the proper task of life - Friedrich Nietzsche

Love is a long running machine
But eventually sputters out and dies
Age kills in between
But no one is the wiser

Beauty lasts as long as a morning,
Age takes that too
But give a subtle warning
All in open view

Memory has few good years
And brings loads of shame
Going against all of our fears
But Age just lays claim

It is depressing,
but the flower of life
For everyone
Wilts naturally

The author's comments:
It is really depressing. I don’t like depressing stuff, I am not that kind of person. I like to this about life like a flower. Bright and beautiful and rather large, they eventually, no matter what are beaten and are handled a little too rough at sometimes. Which take its toll. taking life’s greatest things taken for granted like remembering a name.
