Music to Her Ears
As she sits in her worn-down seat
She starts to tap her foot
The music flows into her veins
And her eyes are firmly shut
It takes her to a faraway place
Where no lies or crimes prevail
She has no worries, fears, or stress
For this is a precious tale
But when the song comes to an end
She finds herself so calm
For it fills a gap within her heart
She grasps it in her palm
Music can cure a broken heart
This much is true I know
It’s able to change your view on life
And help you ever so
