Baseball and Wisconsin weather
The game starts off as a warm sunny summer day
With the crowd cheerful and happy
When the first pitch is pitched
It nails the catcher's glove like a loud thunder from above
Strike one, says the ump, with a crowds cheer
Now the batters in the box shaking as if on ice
The pitch comes out of the hand like a lightning bolt
Halfway to the plate
The time slows down like an endless winter to the batter
He starts his swing and nails it
Shocked that he hit it, he quickly stumbles out of the box
The ball sores threw the air like a leaf in the wind
Soaring over the wall for a home run.
