You let me fall…
You let me fall for you.
You let me feel.
You let me smile.
You let me breathe.
You left me see beauty.
You let me fall…
You gave me comfort.
You gave me protection.
You gave me happiness.
You let me fall…
You gave me the world.
I gave you nothing.
I was a nobody.
But you claimed to still have loved me.
I felt empty.
Even after you poured your everything into me.
You had such high hopes.
You had such big plans.
I was tying you down.
You let me fall…
You let me feel vulnerable.
I hated it.
I felt so weak.
I knew I wasn’t enough.
I pushed you away.
You didn’t pull me back in.
You let me fall…
Into this cliché game.
You knew that we were in over our heads.
You knew that we’d end up broken.
But you continued to let me fall...

This is a story of a love lost. Both lovers left broken. They begin realizing that, love is only an illusion, but they continue to drown in love. They both must suffer through the tragedy they saw coming.
