Why do we laugh?
Why do we cry?
Why do we Live?
Why do we Die?
Why oh why?
Is it a lie?
An enemy in disguise?
Our own country split by divide
School shootings, bombings
America's kids looking to hide
Eyes wide, why does it have to be us?
Why did my friends have to go?
I share these thoughts
With those who have lost
With all the things payed for
There’s still a cost
Now my question to everyone is
Why is our world so lost?
