Set Me Free

She is one among many,
But she reaches out to the sun,
To break free from the chains of the past,
The weight of these chains is what brings her down,
These chains will be cast off her shoulder if you set her free,
She is sick and tired of living in a cage sitting in the rain,
She takes a deep breath hoping someone will set her free,
But beware as soon as you think you're in charge,
She'll make you bleed and you'll wish she was still sitting in the rain.
