I don’t dream
Not anymore
I have nightmares and sometimes
Something more
I’m afraid to sleep
Scared to see
The terrors that plague
My non-existent dreams
And sometimes
Sometimes they are something more
Sometimes I dream of things
That haven’t happened yet and when I wake
They appear like deja vu
Again, and again, and again
