He stands,
Just barely
Out of reach.
I try to grasp
The hands i cannot keep.
I want to hold
His hand.
I want to hear
Him speak.

I've recently gone through a break up, while i love him with all my heart, he was not good for me. See, I'm trans and when I came out to him, he thought I would change completely. I'm the same person just differant name and pronouns.
