and paint my paper boat pink and blue

to match the shift of the sky

Find me anything that can stay still for one second

a light lingering touch of a hand

a chalk drawing on the pavement

Find me a clean rain puddle for my thoughts

an untroubled sky above that

does not tip my flimsy paper boat into the river
