A simple snapchat streak or some SMS messages
Sometimes souls are stricken by sadness
So shadowed and sickened by suffering
That they slowly sink
Like the sweet sap from a sapling sickamore
But strong sadness shouldn’t stun someone forever
Reach out
Search for someone to say something to
Scratch down some sentences
That will strike down the sadness
And shadow the suffering
In a sweet sensation of sunshine
Send someone something
