I write
Although I am as useless as my left hand
I'm not ambidextrous
But my heart is.
Pulled in 27 different directions
Still unafraid of its breaking point.
And when the pulling stops,
It lies stretched out on the ground.
Yet still ready for the next blow.
And speaking like it knows every word in the dictionary
Most of the things aren't real.
But that's what happens when
I write.

Save your drama for your lama

This is really good. I like the emotion in it.

Lovely! Deceivingly simple the first time you read it, but after a second go at it, all of the depth and feeling emerges. I love poems like this that make you think :)

Great job!

My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to.
