A girl like me doesn’t belong in the same room as them,

Those with the Kulture that they obtained through birth, the Kulture that can’t be taught.


The moment that I feel like I finally belong, I’m judged because I didn’t choose the people that look like me.

But I don’t fit in with the people like them,

Stepping through the threshold,

Standing within the same room, but the only thing we have in common is the degree of our complexion, but complexion is thinner than skin deep.


20 Pearls and Legacies...
