I wished I could have been there
When you fell.
I could have pulled you out
Of the place
You fought so hard
To get out of.
When you fell again,
You shut me out.
And now I’m sitting
At your funeral
Wondering what
I should have done.

This is a brief insight into the mind of a grieving person. Although I too have grieved, I have never experienced something of this magnitude. I sincerely hope that you don't relate to this pain, but if you do, please know that I am rooting for you.
